Claude Davis a huge blow to the Rams defense after it is revealed he may be out for the season
Claude Davis is almost certainly out of the Rams side for the rest of this season. The sad news was revealed by Manager Paul Jewel, who said that Davis will undergo a knee operation on Friday to hopefully cure a niggle he has had for a while. The length of time he will be out will depend on the finding during the operation but it may be a similar injury to the one sustained by Danny Mills, on loan at Derby from Manchester City.

The injuries have put sever strain on an already lightweight defence and adds to the worries of Manager Paul Jewel in his desperate attempt to avoid relegation.

The Rams face a Tottenham side full of confidence at Pride Park on Saturday and will test out new defenders Alan Stubbs and his fellow defensive team mates.

Ex Ram Tom Huddlestone will be returning to Pride Park for a reunion with some old team mates, although relatively few remain since his move to London. The 21 year-old from Nottingham has played 35 times for Spurs and continues to improve with age...
