Hamstring woes continue for Anderson

The 32-year-old has recovered from the tight hamstring he felt after he appeared as a substitute against Leicester at the Walkers Stadium on November 13.

However, Anderson is now suffering from tendonitis in the area and County have not put a timescale on when he will be fit to return.

"It is difficult to put a time on it," said Rams manager Nigel Clough.

"His hamstring has healed but it is this tendonitis that is holding him back at the moment."

Anderson has endured an injury-plagued campaign, with his only start this season coming on the opening day at Leeds.

A torn groin muscle forced him off at half-time at Elland Road and sidelined the Scot until mid-October, when he came off the bench in the victories over Preston and Doncaster.

A hamstring problem then kept him out of four matches before he replaced Shaun Barker after 78 minutes at Leicester.
