George Thorne, has given an astonishing interview to Sunday People reporter, Tom Hopkinson.
Thorne the subject of transfer interest by the Rams has said, "I am not coming back if it means sitting on the bench" at WBA.
It has taken Thorne a year and a half to get back to fitness following a knee injury and now feels that Derby County may be the better option for him if he wants to play regular first team football.
Although having just signed a new three year deal at the Hawthorns, it was a pre requisite of signing on loan for the Rams.
Ggeorge has not been happy at West Brom for some time and feels he has not been treated properly, which again could be a favourable sign for Derby County in their quest to bring the 21 year-old to the Ipro Stadium.
Despite being the youngest player ever to play for WBA, George has only played 16 first team games for the Baggies since the 2009-10 season.
We are sure this saga will roll on through the Summer but hopfully the right decision will be made by all parties before the start of next season...
