It has been a long time coming but George Thorne is all but a Ram.
Westbromwich Albion have agreed a fee for Thorne with Derby and if Thorne agrees personal terms and completes a medical he will be a Derby County player.
The fee is undisclosed but is thought to be around the £2.75m mark and if things go according to plan George will hopefully sign before Sunday and will then be able to travel with the Rams to their Austria tour.
Derby now look to be seriously pushing for automatic promotion this time round and look to have one of the strongest midfields in the Championship...
