Fielding given one game ban

frank fielding1The Rams goalkeeper will be missing for just one game after his sending off in the Midlands derby win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Fielding was shown a straight red card for denying Forest a clear goalscoring opportunity, but many feel it was a harsh decision as Ishmeal Miller appeared to dive at the out-rushing Fielding and there was little the former England U21 keeper could have done to avoid the collision.

This means Adam Legzdins will deputise for Fielding this weekend as Derby entertain Millwall at Pride Park. Legzdins made the move to Derby County this summer from Burton Albion and is a highly rated keeper, with several teams after his signiture.

Fielding will be available to play on Tuesday 27th September against Barnsley at Pride Park...
