Peter Gadsby on the receiving end of sick hate mail after Rams defeat
It saddened us here at Derby County Mad to hear that up to 150 so called Derby County fans have sent Rams Chairman Peter Gadsby hate mail.

The Derby County Chairman of just over a years standing was understandably shocked at the amount and ferocity of the emails sent to him.

It is unclear if any follow-up by police or the club is on-going but many fans have turned on the purpetrators after Peter Gadsby and his associated directors have ploughed time, money and effort lifting the club out of the Financial gutter and to the Premiership and all its riches in a very short space of time.

How anyone can send hate mail to a Chairman that only has the best interests of the club at heart is hard to understand. The 6-0 defeat by Liverpool was hard to take for every Rams fan, including Mr Gadsby, but is there any need, or indeed purpose in sending these abusive emails? We think not and hope that these will be the last.

Rams fans now need to unite to show Peter Gadsby and other Derby County Directors that we are grateful of their efforts and proud of what we have all acheived in such a short space of time.

There will be set backs and defeats that will follow until the players now at Pride Park have settled, not only into a new team but into a completely different and demanding league. Your support is vital and there can be no room for in-fighting among ourselves if we are to survive in the Premiership.
