Ex Rams Directors sent to jail

Andrew Mackenzie former Rams financial Director now disgraced and sentenced to three years in jail for his part in the fraudulent dealings during the take over of Derby County football club in 2003
Jeremy Keith, Andrew Mackenzie and Murdo Mackay have all been sentenced at Northampton Crown Court today for their involvement in illeagal dealings during the Rams take-over from Lionel Pickering.

Andrew Mackenzie (55) the Rams former finance Director was given 3 years in prison along with former Rams Director of football Murdo Mackay (53), They were found guilty of concealing commissions on the deal which eventually lead to the take over of Derby County in 2003.

Former Rams CEO, Jeremy Keith was also jailed for 18 months for his part in the dealings which saw them claim £440,625 for arranging a £15 loan with the Panamanian company ABC.

Also going down with the ex Rams directors was David Lowe, the legal advisor for the former directors, who received a two year sentence for money laundering.

Derby County FC are at present trying to re-claim money taken from the club by the men during their time at the club...
