Derby v Forest illegal Ticket sales may cause trouble

The Brian Clough Trophy
Fans are going to any lengths to get tickets to see the Brian Clough Trophy match between the Rams and Notts Forest
Derby County have warned fans not to buy tickets from an illegal Internet website. The site,
www.worldticketshop.com is not authorised to sell the tickets which are said to be fetching up to £200 on the site, more than three times their face value.

A club spokesman has stated that no Derby County home tickets were available anywhere other than through the clubs site and the ticket office.

Nottingham Forest have sold all their 2,800 allocation for the game and Police fear that the illegal tickets may cause problems at the ground on Sunday afternoon between Rams and Forest fans.

With tickets now becoming scarce, fans are resorting to buying tickets from an illegal website.
Fans representatives have called for all fans not to attempt to buy tickets from this source and the World ticket shop site now seems to have withdrawn the tickets.

Derby County and the Police are on full alert for the game and Forest are to bring along stewards from the City Ground to marshal their fans. Hopefully no trouble will ensue and the Brian Clough Trophy will be retained by Derby County...
