James O'Connor is expected to miss out again because of a calf injury.

MATCH PREVIEW

Four consecutive losses - not to mention four Boxing Day defeats in a row - mean Derby could be forgiven for being low on confidence ahead of Doncaster's visit.

Rovers have won on their last two trips to Pride Park, but Derby's form there this season has been impressive. The Rams have scored 25 goals at home in the Championship - more than any other team.

Derby, who have slipped from fourth to ninth in the table, can also take heart from the fact that Doncaster have managed only one victory this term against a side currently in the top half.

After a run of four matches without a win, last weekend's 2-1 beating of Middlesbrough was a boost for the Yorkshire club, who have this week been battling to hold onto manager Sean O'Driscoll amid interest from Sheffield United.
