For those of you who collect football badges, there is currently a brand new one to buy.! The Derby County Barmy Army have produced a special badge to help raise funds for more flags and banners that have started to appear in the North Stand this season.

The Barmy Army is growing since moving to the A section of the North stand at Pride Park and recently attracted media attention with their Clough and Taylor class of 72 flag.

Nick Webster and his fellow Barmy Army colleagues are selling the badge (left) AT £3 each to raise funds for more of the flags and banners which they hope to fly at every Rams home game.

If you would like to help the Barmy Army and pick up a very attractive badge all you need to do is send an email to Nick at barmy_army2010@yahoo.co.uk stating the amount you would like to purchase and your name. Collection of the badges will take place outside Frankie and Benny's restaurant and bar, which is situated directly across from the East stand at Pride Park. The time and date to collect will be from 12,00 noon on the 16th October, where the Rams take on Preston North end.

If you can't get to the game or don't live close to Derby, you can still get your hands on a badge by looking on Ebay. Just click on our photograph of the badge to be taken to the auction listing. Please note the price of the badge on Ebay is 20p more than the collected items but this is due to commission charged by Ebay. There is also a 50p postage charge. Obviously the postage charge is for UK buyers only and you will have to contact the seller to ask about postage if out of the UK...
