D-Day for Rams players

Deadline day has arrived for transfers during the Premiership transfer window. It is D-Day for three Rams players as the 5-00pm deadline approaches. Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggott are still in negotiations with Middlesbrough and as reported yesterday on DC-Mad Southampton are again attempting to lure Danny Higginbotham away from Pride Park.

This may well prove to be either the salvation of Derby County FC, who are still under an FA embargo on in-coming transfers until certain outstanding transfer dealings are paid in full. On the other hand it could see the exodus of some of the Rams most promising young players.

No matter what happens I am sure that everyone will join with DC-Mad to wish any departing players all the best with their new clubs.
