Davies was quick to point out to the media that he hasn't a problem with Mike Horton or any of the rest of the Derby County Board and this is pure journalist hype to unsettle the Rams for the latest of their battles to stay top of the Championship.
Other rumours are that Davies will quit his job in the summer, leaving the Rams managerless. This would in our opinion be highly unlikely in the even of the Rams gaining promotion. Failure to gain promotion may put a different slant on as what is as yet rumour.
The Rams must now pull themselves together and put the two recent defeats behind them and gain at least a point, in what looks a difficult game away to Sunderland at the Stadium of light tomorrow.
