David Kelly finally gets his move

David Kelly eventually joins the Rams

It has taken a while and much gardening has had to be endured by David Kelly but at last he will become the Rams assistant manager from Monday morning.

Rams Chairman Peter Gadsby has had talks with Preston's Chairman Derek Shaw and the stalemate was resolved and everyone can now get on with their lives.

It is unclear at present if any compensation was paid to Preston North End for the move of Kelly, who now teams up with his old manager, Billy Davies. Davies has wanted Kelly as his assistant since moving from Preston to the Rams last year.
