David Jones moves to Championship rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers
After a week of speculation David Jones has finally moved on to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The fee is said to be £1.2m which is just £200,000 more than the Rams paid for the 23 year-old ex-Manchester United midfielder.

Jones struggled to claim a place in a poor Rams side last season after a good first season in which the Rams were promoted to the Premiership. Manager Paul Jewell has played the youngster in the Premiership but he has failed to make the grade wanted by Jewell.

Jones signed for Derby after an initial loan period from Manchester United in January 2007, after initial good displays Sir Alex Ferguson insisted that Derby had a bargain at just £1m.

All at Derby County mad wish David a successful time with Wanderers, just as long as it isn't at the expense of Derby County...
