Julian Darby new 1st team coach
Preston North End are again without two members of their coaching staff as Julian Darby and Glyn Salmon join their former boss Billy Davies at Derby County.

Fans of both teams are either confused or upset over the rapid redeployment of the men. Darby will join the Rams as 1st team coach, whilst Salmon will be second in command at Moor Farm Academy.

The moves follow the pair resignation from Preston earlier last week. Preston Chairman Derek Shaw is understandably very unhappy with the situation and has commented that the pair “showed very little courtesy to the club”. Preston are now in disarray with the season starting in just 12 days time.

Billy Davies is said to be delighted to welcome more of his backroom staff from Preston in at Pride Park and the Moor farm training facility. Rams fans will be hoping they can re-create the relative success of two play-off finals in the last two seasons at the Lancashire club.
