Kris Commons looks toward a top six finish this season if everyone fit
Kris Commons has given his thoughts on the approaching season. With everyone fit and possibly more signings during the summer sees no reason why Derby County should not be in the top six of the Championship at the end of next season.

Commons also singled out Rams top scorer Rob Hulse as one of the major reasons for his optimism. Hulse scorerd 18 goals last season and enjoyed a good partnership with Commons, who sees Hulse as a 20+ goal man this season.

Hulse scored his 18 goals in 54 games last season which is one goal in three appearances, which is a fair ratio in the Championship. If he maintains that strike rate and the Rams find a fellow striker or midfield player to add to that tally the Rams could be in business.

Commons feels that it is consistancy that will determine the Rams season. At times last the Rams looked World beaters with superb performances against Manchester United and Nottingham forest but fell by the way side in other games...
