Kris Commons took the eye of George Burley as the Scots lose to Argentina

Scotland manager George Burley has hailed the performance of Rams midfielder Kris Commons and stated he was "head and shoulders above the rest of the Scottish side".

Burley played Commons as an old fashioned winger and was pleased with the commitment and talent of Commons against top class opposition in the form of Argentina. The Scots lost 0-1 but Burley thinks Commons may be the key to the lack of goals that the Scottish side are currently experiencing.

The defeat now means that Scxotland have failed to win a friendly game at Hampden Park for 12 years...
