Clement to take a pay cut to join the Rams

C:WindowsTempphp5045.tmpYes the controversy rolls on as to the departure date of Steve McClaren is still up in the air, but negotiations seem to be coming to a head with his replacement Paul Clement. The 43 year-old has reportedly taken a quarter of a million pound per year wage drop to take over the reigns with the Rams.

The Irish Daily Mail goes on to say that a four year deal worth £8m has been agreed with Clement and will start with immediate effect once the present incumbent has left.

Clement has spent several years as assistant to Carlo Ancellotti, both at Chelsea and Real Madrid but now feels he has the experience and contacts to forge a managerial, or Chief coaches role at the Ipro.
