This seasons Carling Cup was draw at 9.30am this morning and the Rams will play Rotherham away.Burton Albion take on Reading at the Pirelli Stadium, while Nottingham Forest are at home to Bradford City, Notts County again at home to Doncaster and Leicester City are away to Macclesfield.
The Rams are in the Northern section of the competition and are a seeded side for the 70 clubs in the draw, with 17 matches in the Northern section and 18 taking place in the Southern section.
