Steve Richards (far right) looks on with Alan Quantrill as the Steve Bloomer bust is unveiled by Rams owner Andy Appleby. Now the family hope to attend Rams matches after purchasing season tickets.
A bronze bust to Steve Bloomer was erected and finally unveiled pitch-side at Pride Park earlier this year. It was proud moment for members of the Bloomer family, and we can now reveal exclusively that they will be in attendance this coming season after two season tickets have been purchased to enable the family to attend games.

Steve Richards 78, is Steve Bloomer's closest living relative and has just purchased two season tickets which will enable himself of family relatives to accompany the memorial to his Grandfather at home games.

Mr Richards who lives in Surrey hopes to be able to attend as many games as possible and join his grandfathers bust in 'watching' the Rams as they battle out the coming Championship season.

The Steve Bloomer bust is thought to be the only bronze bust to be pitch-side and facing the field of play in the Country. Yet another first for arguably the Rams greatest ever player...
