Paul Scholes
Paul Scholes asked for significant improvement by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Alex Ferguson has told his team that he wants a "significant improvement" in their game compared to the last time these two teams met at Pride Park.
That game was the Carling Cup semi final 1st leg, which Derby County won 1-0.

The United boss called the game his sides "Worst performance of the season"
Ferguson went on to tell his men that they could have lost that match 4-0 and singled out 1st team regular Paul Scholes and Nemaja Vidic for critisism following their dismal display during the match. Derby County dominated the Premiership, European and World club champions on the night and United were releaved to only be 1-0 down and a home tie to come at Old Trafford. United eventually winning that tie 4-2 and the match on aggregate 4-3.

So all the pressure is now on the United side. Will Ferguson play his youngsters this time at Pride Park or is the alure of the oldest Cup competition too strong to leave it to chance?
One thing is certain United will be facing yet another full house at Pride Park, full of passion for their local team and a rejuvenated Rams side with Nigel Clough at their helm...
