A savage rejection

Robbie Savage at home at his Luxury home. Now Savage is finding it hard to find a team who can afford his £25,000 per week wage bill.

Crewe have turned down a chance to bring in former Welsh International Robbie Savage on loan.

The Division One strugglers rejected Savage, one possible reason being his high £25,000 per week wages.

Light however may be at the end of the tunnel for Savage as League Two side Port Vale are said to be very interested in bringing Savage to Vale Park but again the stumbling block may be the huge wage packet of Savage, even with help from the Rams it is unlikely that any League two side could afford to loan Savage...
