Rams look at Genk again for a striker

It is reported in a Genk fans website and other sources that Derby County are

New Rams target Wesley Sonck?
running the rule over Genks 23 year old striker Wesley Sonck.
The scouts have said that they liked what they saw when they watched Sonck, along with scouts from West Ham, Sunderland, Ipswich and even Manchester United.

Sonck has been setting the Belgian league alight this season and is currently the leading goal scorer in the Belgian league.

Although the Rams may like what they see of Sonck, nicknamed "The Mosquito killer" for some as yet unknown reason, They will need to come up with quite a sizable fee to prise him away from Genk.
Wesley still has 3 years left on his contract and that may be a stumbling block in any negotiations for the striker.
