Smith has joined Premiership new boys and former club Watford on a 4 year deal. The Rams are said to have been paid £500,000 for Smith .
This is a desperate blow to Derby County and new manager Billy Davies, as the club is still searching for more midfield and strikers. Rams fans will also be devastated by the move as Smith was a crowd favourite.
