Strupar, I don't want to play for Derby anymore!

Branko Strupar reportedly said he doesn't want to play for Derby County again even though his is now fit again to play

Strupar sensation! The Rams striker who was said to be injured till at least the end of the season has said that he has recovered and is fit but wants to stay in his native Croatia.

In an interview with Sky Sports.com Strupar has alleged that, “ The knee injury has cleared up”.
He went on to say “My Derby days are over”. The Belgian International is reported to have said that “the English club want me to stay but I rejected that option. I don’t want to play for Derby any more and I believe that they don’t want me back either”.

So at a time when the Rams are desperate for fit strikers is this story correct? We believe that it is and is probably because of the estimated size of Strupar’s wage bill at a time when every penny is being counted at Derby County FC.
