Shearer to make football return with the Rams

Derby County have just released the sensational news that Alan Shearer (37) is to come out of retirement and help the Rams back into the Premiership. The Premierships leading scorer with 260 goals will join the Rams on an emergency loan after leading striker Steve Howard picked up a two match ban.

Complex negotiations have taken place to lure the ex-Newcastle and England legend out of retirement.

Shearer said he is happy to play for Derby in the last few months of the season and has missed the crowds and atmoshpere of the game.

Derby County have not revealed how much it has cost the Rams for the services of Shearer but hew will not have come cheap.

Rams fans will get their first glimps of the England legend this Friday as the Derby travel to Leicester City.
