Season Ticket holders have to wait till Sunday for FA Cup tickets

Derby County have just announced revised dates for the sale of FA Cup fifth round tie against Manchester United.

Originally season ticket holders were informed by the clubs official website that tickets would be available from Friday for season ticket holders to claim their own seat for the Cup match. However due to the snow over the last few days it seems plans have had to be re-drawn and the now only Platinum members will be able to claim tickets for the game tomorrow and Saturday.

It seems yet again the loyal season ticket holder is placed second in the queue when it comes to buying Cup Tickets, whilst those who can afford to pay get to claim a seat first.

There is something wrong when people who pay anything up to and above £1000 for season tickets for themselves and family can't purchase their season ticket seats on the first available day. Something maybe Derby County could look into and maybe reward season ticket holders by re-introducing the Cup Vouchers which disappeared many season ago.

Season ticket holders now have just four days to purchase their tickets before they go on general sale, where as Platinum members (just who are they and how much do they pay for this privilage?) have nearly a week!

Well I for one was looking forward to purchasing my ticket to watch the Rams V Manchester United tomorrow but as I am only a lowly season ticket holder I may watch the whole thing on the telly...

Order of sale for the tickets are:
Platinum season ticket members on sale from Friday 6th Feb
Season Ticket holders from Sunday 8th Feb
Gold members Wednesday 11th Feb
General sale to DCFC supporters Thursday Feb 12th
