Adam Pearson, Rams Chairman of football has given indications that two of the players being chased by the Rams will sign by the middle of next week.Lee Croft the talented right sided winger will hopefully sign up with the Rams by Wednesday of next week. The 23 year old will hope to celebrate his 24th Birthday on Friday by moving on a free transfer to Pride Park.
Croft is an ambitious player who sees himself and hopefully the Rams back in the Premiership before too long. He has pace and is being brought to the club to balance up the wing play for Derby.
Several clubs have been wanting the signiture of Croft but Derby have always been at the front of the queue and Croft himself sees Derby County and all its facilities as the club for him.
Meanwhile Dean Moxey is another Rams target that may be signing during next week. Dean is currently enjoying a well earned break but will travel up to Derby on Monday to discuss personal terms with Rams boss, Nigel Clough and Adam Pearson.A fee of around £300,000 plus add-ons has already been agreed by the Rams and Exeter City for the player.
