The Rams welcomed into the fold two further players today to take the total number of new faces to 11.

Przemyslaw Kazmierczak, who will be known from now on as Kaz for obvious reasons, has signed for a season long loan from Portuguese side Porto. Kaz is 26 and stands a lofty 6ft 3 inches tall. His primary role will be as a holding midfield player but he has been known to score some goals as well.

Derby has also signed 28 year old Rob Hulse from Sheffield United. The Rams have been after Hulse for a while and have now finally settled on a deal thought to be worth £1.75m to the Blades. Hulse is a goalscorer but has had injury problems after a nasty double fracture of his leg on 17th March 2007. His rehabilitation took him 9 months before finally returning to first team football in December 2007.

Hulse is expected to make a major part of a four man strike team which includes Tito Villa, Liam Dickinson and Nathan Ellington.

Rams manager Paul Jewell will be relieved to have made what look to be his final two signings of a very busy summer. All that remains now is to get everyone playing for each other and Derby County and we may yet see Derby County return to the Premiership next season...
