Arsenal loan star Arturo Lupoli may be heading home to Italy
On loan star Arturo Lupoli has stunned Rams boss Billy Davies after admitting he wants to return home to Italy when the January transfer window opens.

Lupoli is still under contract with Arsenal but it was thought he may favour a permanent move to Pride Park at the end of his season long loan spell.

The highly skilled youngster, still only 19, has now stated that he would like to return to Italy when the transfer window opens, leaving Billy Davies's plans in tatters for the rest of the season if the move takes place.

Lupoli has been used sparingly by Davies but he has proved his worth to the squad, scoring on seven occasions in twenty
games for the Rams. Not all of Lupoli's appearances have been in the starting eleven, in fact he has come on as substitute on eight of the twenty games he has taken part in.

It remains to be seen if Billy Davies can persuade Lupoli to at least stay with the Rams until the end of the season. His sharpe penetrating runs and goals will be sadly missed by Davies and the fans alike should Lupoli move on.
