Derby County Ladies FC reach the FA Woman's Premier League
It was shear joy for the Ladies of Derby County last night as they secured their place in the FA Woman's Premier League.

The Rams ladies had struggled to achieve their objective in their previous game, losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers Ladies but secure promotion last night at Pride Park Beating Crewe Alexandra 4-2

The match started badly for Derby initially going behind but goals from Lauren Steadman and Jemma Douglas gave the Rams a lead. Joy however was short lived as Crewe drew level before the interval.

With all to play for in the second half, Derby ceased the advantage when awarded a penalty in the 55th minute. This was ably put away by Leanne Beet.

Rams ladies on their way to the PremiershipThe Rams could almost see the Premiership but failed to make the game safe until the 80th minute when Leanne Beet scored her second and the Rams fourth.
