Stuart Attwell will referee the Rams against Bristol City this weekend
The Rams will experience the Premiership's youngest ever referee in tomorrows clash with Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

Stuart Attwell is only 25 years of age but impressed so much in his first season refereeing football league level games that he was promoted to the Premier League of referees at the end of last season.

Attwell from Nuneaton in Warwickshire will replace the original referee allotted for this game which was Uriah Rennie.

As many Rams fans sing "why do we always get sh*t refs" to the tune of Blue Moon, it is hoped that Attwell will be the cut above the average refereeing seen at so many Rams games.

Paul Jewell will be hoping that the Rams can follow up on the Carling Cup success over Lincoln in midweek and give him his first ever league win whilst in charge of Derby County. Bristol City, who reached last seasons Championship play-offs will be a stern test for the Rams who haven't won away from home since March 31st 2007, that game was against Barnsley in the Championship season that saw the Rams win promotion in the Play-off final against West Bromwich Albion.
