At least two more signings before the Premiership season starts on Saturday is the word coming from those in the know around Derby County.

Kenwyn Jones

The Rams are hoping to bring in another quality striker and may plump for Southampton's Kenwyn Jones. The 6ft 2 inch striker and utility player is a Trinidad and Tobago International with 28 caps and two goals. At just 22 years of age Jones has plenty of time to develop and has scored 18 goals in a 70 match spell with the Saints . He was also a crowd favourite with Sheffield Wednesday fans, who he had a loan spell with during the 2004 -05 season and scored 7 goals in seven games for the Owls.

Mika Vayrynen

Another possible signing is Mika Vayrynen a talented midfield player from PSV Eindhoven. A relative youngster at just 25 years of age, he is acclaimed as one of the key players for the Finnish national side.

The Rams may have their work cut out if they want to snap up Mika as Glasgow Rangers have been keeping a watchful eye on Vayrynen and are expected to put in a bid at any time.
