Derby County have formally announced the arrival of Ilkeston Town midfield player Ben Pringle. The 20 year old will initially be part of the Rams new ‘Development squad’, which will be made up of players mainly under 21 years-of age.
The Squad will be entered into the reserve league and players doing well in that will progress and get their chance to stake a claim in the Derby County first team.
Derby see the signing of Pringle on a one year contract as good for both club and player. Nigel Clough see’s Ben as having “potential” and hopes he and others with commitment to the club will force their way into the first team during next season....
