No loan signings for the Rams but Boets floats off to Chesterfield

Derby County have not signed anyone on loan for the remainder of the season . The 5.00pm deadline came and went without any movement from the Rams.

Reports that Billy Davies wanted to strengthen the central defensive department had every Rams fan watching and listening to sports reports throughout the day. Despite the need to have back-up for injured or players close to a ban, Billy Davies was unsuccessful before the window firmly shut until the end of May.The Rams have however loaned out Paul Boertien for the rest of this season. The 28 year-old has not featured in the Rams side since a 0-2 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Pride Park on Boxing day 2006.
