Derby County are working hard behind the scenes to try and land Scottish International striker Kenny Miller from Celtic.

An offer of around £2.5m has been offered in an attempt to bring Kenny to Pride Park, although Gordon Strachen has denied that Miller or anyone else at Celtic is on the Transfer list.

Miller was one of only three players to have played for both Rangers and Celtic since the second world war and since joining Celtic last year has scored on 9 occasions from 32 games.

English football is not foreign to Miller, having spent 5 years with Wolves and enjoying a decent return of 50 goals in 162 appearances for the Wanderers.

With time running out it is hoped the Two Scotsmen (Strachen & Davies) can agree a fee and bring yet another talented Scotsman over the border and to Pride Park
