Arturo Lupoli returns home in the summer

If you read our report on Saturday it will come as no shock to hear that Arturo Lupoli, on a season long loan from Arsenal, has decided to return home in the summer.

He has finalised a deal which will take him to Fiorentina. The 19 year-old was wanted by several top Italian clubs.

No one has yet commented on the deal from Derby County. He was used sparingly by Billy Davies and Arturo wanted and maybe needed regular first team action, which he was promised when moving to Pride Park on the season long loan.

The nippy striker will be missed by the Rams supporters, who saw him as a replacement for ageing striker Paul Peschisolido. One thing is certain, we will be seeing a lot more of this young man in the coming years on the European and International scene.
