Is it jobs for the boys week at Pride Park or is Billy Davies bringing in tried and trusted backroom staff to move the Rams forward?

I guess we will have to wait and see but many supporters have been unhappy this week with the dismissals of long time servants of the club, including coach Steve Taylor.

The news of more arrivals from Deepdale has just surfaced as Preston goalkeeping coach Peter Williams has just taken over at the club. This follows the appointment of Kevin Thelwell as new Academy boss earlier this week.

Williams has a very good record with goalkeepers steering Carlo Nash to 26 clean sheets for Preston last season. Something similar for Lee Camp would go a long way to helping the Rams reach their dream of a promotion play-off place this season.

Italian Legendary Goal Keeper dino Zoff is among the close friends of Peter and may have learned some of the tricks of the trade from him. Peter however insists that goalkeeping is 80% attitude and just 20% ability, the trick is bringing the two together, which we sincerely hope he does at Derby.

Williams joined Preston in the 2003-04 season after a lengthy spell with Peter Reid At Sunderland, helping them to promotion.
