Reports have Derby County looking at 30 year old former Inter Milan striker Mohamed Kallon, now playing for Monaco since 2004.

The Sierra Leone International comes with varying reputations, some as a speedy and feared attacking player and some as a player who under-performs on many occasions.

Kallon's most controversial incident happened in September 2003 when he tested positive for the banned drug Nandrolone following a seria A match. He was given a 6 month ban for the positive test.

A Record of 19 goals in 54 games for Inter Milan during the period 2001 to 2004 was good going for any striker in Seria A, let alone one that only started 29 games, coming on as substitute 25 times.

His record is somewhat similar to Robert Earnshaw's when he was at WBA and the two may make a formidable combination.
