FA insist on rearranged match being put back to original date

The season hasn't yet started but fixtures are being changed quicker than a F1 cars tyres.

Both Derby County and Coventry City had agreed to switching the home game for the Rams from Saturday 19th April 2003 only a few days ago to Thursday 17th April.

Now the FA has stepped in to tell both clubs that the match will have to be played on it's original date. Both clubs agreed to the earlier switch because it would have given both teams extra time to recover before the Easter Monday fixtures.

Watch this space, no doubt this will not be the only fixture switch of the season.
