Warren Barton starts tomorrow against Spurs
Warren Barton the 32 year old Newcastle defender has become the first of many changes expected at Pride Park in the coming months.
The deal was completed in record time with Barton confirming that it was because he is delighted with the move to Derby and that is the reason for the swift change.

Gregory is hoping to play Barton in tomorrows home game with Tottenham Hotspur. Although Barton is nearing his 33rd birthday in March the new Rams manager sees Barton as a leader on the pitch, able to marshal the younger players around him.

Warren Barton...
Born in Stoke Newington on 19/03/1969...Height 5ft-11...Warren has played 3 times for England and in his career to date has played 361 League games, scoring 14 goals (not bad for a right back)

Interesting fact... Newcastle have not lost a game in which Warren has taken part this season.

Let's hope that Warren has a storming game tomorrow along with the rest of the team. John Gregory expects a near full house at Pride Park....So lets hear you chear the Rams on to victory!
