Ex Rams striker Izale McLeod could be helping the Rams with 30% of any fee the 22 year-old Milton Keynes Don's forward raises.

East Midlands Championship side Leicester City are said to be interested along with Premiership Bolton Wanderers. The Foxes boss, Martin Allan is said to have offered £1.2m for the youngster but the MK dons are staying tight lipped about any offer and have already stated that they are looking for around £2m for McLeod. If the asking price is realised that would mean the Rams would receive £600,000.

McLeod scored 24 times last season in 40 appearances for the Dons and this has alerted Premiership Bolton Wanderers, who obviously see Izale as a Premiership striker. McLeod has said that he wants to test himself at a higher level and Bolton may be the team to give him a chance.

Derby County let Izale go three years ago and has made himself into one of the country's leading goalscorers. During his time with the MK Dons he has scored 60 times in just 117 appearances. Maybe Derby County should be looking to negotiate a deal and forgo the £600,000, where else could you get a striker of such quality for just £1.4million?
