Swansea's 'want away' Dutch Midfielder has stated to Sky Sports that he is desperate to leave the Welsh side and join up with the Rams for pre-season training.

Swan's Chairman Huw Jenkins has received a bid thought to be around the £2m asking price for Bodde and possibly with add-on's for promotion to the Premiership and appearances for the Rams. Still the Swansea City Chairman holds out. Two Premiership sides have expressed an interest in Bodde but none, as yet, have placed a firm offer for him.

Here is what Bodde had to say to Sky Sports "It is stressing me out, I am waiting but this has been going on since the start of my holidays some seven or eight weeks ago. I am at Swansea now, but my heart and my head are not - at times I am not sure what I will do, but my family is my main focus. I never wanted to leave with a bad taste, but the way things have gone is not my fault, it was a hard decision to decide to leave, as it was when I left Holland to come to Swansea."

"It is normal some people may think this is all about me but it isn't because Swansea are the ones who need to sort this out - they need to be fair. I came here to be a success and I have been helping them to the Championship, but I have ambitions. I want to be in the Premier League and with Derby next year I think I will be and then, I would love the chance to push for the national side. I want to play for Derby and really hope that happens soon so I can begin training with them ready for the new season,"

Seems to be the latest heart felt plea from the young Dutchman, will Jenkins make his mind up soon, or is he prepared to wait for a higher bid from out of the Premiership. One thing is certain Both Bodde and Rams manager Paul Jewell are rapidly running out of patience with the situation and the Swansea Chairman....
