Rumours of a move back to Reading have come to light after the central defender has yet to make a start for the Rams.
Derby yesterday completed the signing of Readings Nick Blackman and Pearce may have been instrumental in that taking place.
Pearce was a free signing from Reading a Year ago, and looks to be surplus to requirements at the moment in the Rams squad.
